New Zealand's Day of Disgrace - The Violence of a Mob Against Posie Parker & The Death of Free Speech. [Plus Where the Hell Were Police.]

Thanks to modern technology we all saw what happened yesterday: a vicious mob fuelled with hatred over the previous week by our media, particularly a columnist for the Herald, and by sitting MP's in government, seriously assaulted Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, aka Posie Parker, and a small group of defenceless women who were at 'Let Women Speak' to peacefully tell their stories, while our police force, I now have to assume a heavily politicised police force, simply watched on.

I have no words after such a draining day as yesterday. It's very strange: I lived through Covid unvaccinated with the ostracisation and all that entailed, I watch as  co-Maori-governance is turning NZ into  New Zimbabwe, but strangely I find the scenes from yesterday some type of 'new' gestalt for myself: a final understanding and change to my thought that is incontrovertible at a gut level.

All I want to do in this piece is offer some thoughts out of the disgrace that occurred in Auckland, two questions for the new police minister, but mainly reprint the presser that the brave women from 'Let Women Speak' released after Kellie-Jay had been forced to get on a plane and leave New Zealand for her own safety (think about that): I will simply leave some of my space for them to say what they wanted to say, peacefully, yesterday.

My main thought out of the day:

Late last night, because I was so disturbed I couldn't sleep, I read a tweet from a gay man in the UK, he was some type of organiser there, and he was opining what happened to Kellie-Jay in Auckland, making the point that on all the gay rights and AID's protests and street marches in the latter quarter of last century there was never any violence or hatred from the gay community, there were never signs that said 'kill' as we now have in transactivism with blitheringly unselfaware useful idiots parading publicly with 'Kill the Terfs' and this man's summary was that he thought there was something very dark about the trans (gender ideology) movement.

Yesterday that hatred and darkness was on full display.

So, albeit not sitting well with my classical liberalism, I have learned that transactivism the political movement, is a fascist movement. It simply can't be ignored. If I was in the LGB community, I'd be wanting to dissociate myself fully from the T(rans) movement; it's going to destroy the decades (or centuries) of work obtaining their rights via reason and free speech.

I will treat every individual on their own terms, but for me the rainbow flag, while it encompasses the T of LGBT, means division, hatred and a frightening authoritarianism wanting to do evil if it gets its chance; there only appeared one colour in that rainbow yesterday, the brown of those dreadful shirts in that earlier century also that the T's too readily don. If you're a business, don't be waving your rainbow flag at me: yesterday changed everything.

I'm awake now.

Observation & Demand for Proof from our Media:

While writing this the morning after, there is not one story or headline on the New Zealand Herald about yesterday's momentous events. That will be because one of their columnists, Shaneel Lal, was a chief instigator in the protest shutting down the free speech of 'Let Woman Speak' and afterward he published his glee that Kellie-Jay was forced to leave the country due to his groups violence. I have also learned Lal is a sometimes advisor to our Prime Minister Hipkins.

Think about what all that means.

Throughout last week the fervour was easily kicked up against Kellie-Jay by our media via innuendo - that hand signal doing up her coat - and more direct means, besmirching her with the label 'Nazi'. However, if you research Kellie-Jay, at least when I did, you will find not one such link from her: it was made up because a mob hates a Nazi and the media knew that.

She simply speaks, so ironically given yesterday, about the need for women to have their safe places and for penises not to be in their toilets and changing rooms, and flaunted about in front of their daughters. (Oh how unreasonable).

So, proof please, of such links from our media?

Observation:

I think the most hate-filled and vile person in politics today is Green Party Co-Leader Marama Davidson. In her unbelievable speech after yesterday's violence that our problem was white cis males, I truly believe Davidson is mentally deficient: she is not all there, because you can't be that dumb without intent: she remains a dangerous and corrosive woman in our politick.

Questions for Police Minister Ginny Andersen:

Kellie-Jay had to cancel her tour after she 'escaped' the Auckland mob yesterday and flew back to the UK because, quote, 'police declined to protect her for the rest of her stay'.

Police in a free country don't have the luxury of 'declining' to protect a peaceful individual going about their business. They don't get to choose what they will police and what they won't. How could police put out such an outrageous statement?

Kellie-Jay had to fly out for her own safety because of this, a shocking indictment and embarrassment for New Zealand, yet I expected our police, as is their job, to have protected her so she could speak. By the police refusing to do their job, to police, they have told transactivism their use of violence has worked, they can now choose who gets to speak and who doesn't by applying violence and even the threat of it in future. Indeed, incomprehensibly there doesn't look to be a single arrest or prosecution out of the mob violence that occurred.

And that is the end of law and order, the rule of law itself, in New Zealand.

Secondly, if you watch the videos from yesterday, as Kellie-Jay and her small bunch of brave women were being physically assaulted, repeat, physically assaulted, by an out of control, vile mob, a squad of police stood by and watched it without intervening until the very end where private security desperately managed to get her and the women out. I have no doubt in very slightly changed circumstances all of those women would have been harmed seriously by that mob; as it was a 70 year old woman was punched in the face and received a black eye (remember Herald columnist Shaneel Lal gloated at these women forced to leave under this violence and not being able to peacefully speak their stories). The hulking individual that was able to stand completely over the diminutive Kellie-Jay and pour a container of tomato soup on her, could have had acid in that container.

I want to know on whose instructions, and why, police held back and did not intervene.

Our police were a disgrace yesterday.

Let Woman Speak Statement:

[If you blog or have a public space think about putting the below up: we owe it to these women to give them a voice that was shut down yesterday.]

Today in Albert Park as women were punched, kicked, spat at, trampled, and overrun by a violent mob, New Zealanders have seen the true colours of some of those who, ordinarily, cloak themselves in claims of diversity, tolerance, and inclusion.

In the same week that World Athletics has stated what all reasonable New Zealanders know to be true – that fairness, safety and opportunities for women in sport require the exclusion of males, no matter how they choose to identify – New Zealand activists have shown that they believe women should not be able to have anything for themselves. Not even a small band rotunda in an Auckland park.

So let us clearly say the things that Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull was not able to say today. Lesbians cannot have penises. Men have no place in women’s single sex facilities, services, or sports, regardless of what they proclaim their inner gender identity to be. Puberty blockers, created to castrate male sex offenders and treat prostate cancer, are experimental and harm vulnerable children. And people cannot change biological sex no matter how much they may want to or how many documents they may possess saying otherwise.

Saying that does not deny the existence of people who identify as gender diverse, or instigate harm or violence against them, or make them unsafe, it simply states the truth. Biological sex is real and it matters.

Storming barricades and assaulting women is not “free speech”. It is violent sexism and misogyny. Drowning out the speech of people you don’t like is the cowardly approach of people unwilling to debate contesting views. A 5’1” woman needing four security guards to form a human shield around her to protect her from a screaming, spitting mob is not a New Zealand we know. But it is a true representation of a movement that has become increasingly determined to shut down and destroy anyone with views about sex and gender that they don’t like.

We see those of you in the media who are already trying to downplay the results of the frenzy you were busy whipping up all week. There was not a “scuffle” between supporters and Mrs Keen-Minshull did not leave because she got some paint thrown at her. A small group of courageous women were stampeded by an activist mob and a number were assaulted and physically harmed. Fortunately, in the age of technology New Zealanders can see for themselves what happened.

In the country that was the first in the world to give women the vote, tomorrow’s Let Women Speak gathering in Wellington has been cancelled. Mrs Keen-Minshull’s security team have advised her that they cannot keep her safe from mob violence and the police have declined to do so.

Activists spent the week being courted by a complicit media platforming their claims of being scared, fearing for their safety, deliberately lying to propagate their claims of New Zealand being full of “queer hatred”, and claiming that words they don’t like are harmful and make them feel unsafe. In reality it is clear who really was unsafe today. It is clear who was actually harmed. And it was not the activists taking gloating selfies from a band rotunda.

Speak Up for Women thanks Mrs Keen-Minshull for having the courage to come to New Zealand and showing up in Albert Park today, despite receiving multiple death threats and threats of violence in the last week.

In the coming weeks Speak Up for Women will be gathering witness statements and laying a formal complaint with the Independent Police Conduct Authority about the lack of police action to prevent violence in what was clearly an increasingly volatile situation. We call on all political leaders to roundly condemn the violence that transgender activists perpetuated this morning.

We speak directly to the Greens, who actively courted and promoted the violence that occurred today, including just this morning posting on social media that they were ready to “fight the Nazis”. And by Nazis they meant the 70 year-old woman who was punched in the head by the mob they instigated. The Green Party was founded by people who fought for free speech, including speech they found abhorrent, you should be ashamed of what you have turned the party into.

  1. I don't think there was any woman in NZ/Aotearoa who saw the footage not totally shocked at the lack of police at this so called event. We have all seen the footage of their nazi type behaviour at the Parliament protests, pulling women out of their tents by the hair, deploying illegal sound cannons and turning hoses on people, men, women and children alike. There were hundreds of the boys and girls in blue, plus the usual undercover shit stirrers from the special forces 'civilian squad' burning tents and hurling crap, as is their brief- 'hart's tarts'- in civvies and beanies. They had riot shields and helmets. They stood in formation surveying their prey whilst discussing their bonuses and laughing about their pension schemes or their holiday homes, idk. I'm guessing that the lynch mob at Posy Parker's event definitely carried some of these professional agitators, paid by the hour; there were for sure Azov members, badges on display, as well as freaks dressed like cats etc, all misfit and gender troubled, or gender emboldened or something. No police bar the Wellington Paranormal imitators in their soft hats and shoes, maybe six or seven from what I could see.
The message to women: "eat dirt, motherfucker!" smh.
    Posy Parker's

    1. sorry left out a bit...Posy Parker's request is pretty simple-back off, blokes in dresses, don't hang you dick out in our changing rooms and toilets.

    3. Great article. I totally agree with everything you wrote and also Frances. New Zealand is imploding. Saturday also put the true 'gay' movement back 40 years. I know and am friends with many 'gay' people and none of them are like that vile violent mob, but no doubt they will get the brunt of the backlash that is coming. So many very sad days for NZ these last few years. NZ is imploding.

    4. Thanks Foxylox. Yes, probably the most damage that was done Saturday was to the LGB community: they need to cast off the T & Q's who've parasitically come in over the peaceful work of gay groups for decades to get rights, to now see that ruined with the toxic fascism of transactivism.

  2. Those troublesome lamebrains that attended the meeting so to create a scene of havoc cannot possibly be representatives of the Gay community.
I would aver they would be the clandestine, closeted members from the far left faction of the Labor party; or/and the subversive orchestrated twats from the pits of NZs universities.
Blind Freddie can tell you that they had to be organised and in full consciousness of what they were about.
That the NZ police had been pre-briefed as to what to expect and how to act is as obvious as was the intent of the Labor hire a thug twats attending.
    Shame Labor, shame!
